About ICD
The International College of Dentists (India
& Sri Lanka Section) is an autonomous section, which came in to existence in 1963. Our
college grants fellowship (F.I.C.D.) to scholars in dental profession each year after
meticulous scrutiny of credentials through credential committee, zonal regents and finally
by the board of regents.
The college has been offering Student Plaque Awards, Donor Awards and ICD Merit Awards to
deserving young dentists who passed out of recognized dental institutions. The college
also gives away Ist & IInd prizes for two ICD essay competitions on different subjects
which is open to all dental surgeons in India & Sri Lanka.
The college brings out two issues of scientific journal for our fellows, dental
institutions, libraries etc. each year.
The aims and objectives of ICD is to honor the scholars, dental professionals and dental
students for their meritorious services to the profession and community at large.
ICD has been organizing continuing education program and oration lectures at different
times.
We have many oration awards and appreciation awards for our fellows for their activities
and achievements for being honored and holding national & international recognitions
in the dental education and holding prestigious offices in dental organizations.
Dental surgeons can send their bio-data for grant of fellowship to the ICD Secretary
General at Dr. Rajiv Chugh, W-5, Greater Kailash Part - I, New Delhi - 110048 along with preliminary processing fee of
Rs.350/- by demand draft in favour of 'International College of Dentists', India Section,
New Delhi. The minimum age of the candidate should be 35 years and the last date for
receipt of preliminary application form is 31st October each year.
